Health Insurance Personal Private health care, in the United States, is in a severe state of flux.  As a result of the hurried Christmas Eve, 2009 vote of the U S Senate, the Government is effectively attempting to put private insurance companies out of business. In addition, no one knows what is in the health care package that the Senate voted on.  If the Senators don't know, we as insurance providers and advisors sure don't know either.  I cannot in good conscience advise clients on how to protect themselves, without knowing the rules. So, effective January 1, 2010, the only health care plan we will offer is the Short Term Major Medical.  Until the Government understands that the people of this country deserve better than the politics we are being force fed, this agency will not support their politics as usual.
